Born in Toronto and taking his first steps in the heart of Swansea, Nestor takes the next step to provide a common sense, professional business approach for the constituents in the area.

Parkdale – High Park

Nestor has always been committed to the local community having volunteered at neighbourhood festivals and the hospital. He continues to be a leader of the local youth group and remains active with them today through mentorship, fundraisers, and its executive and board of directors.

Higher Education

Nestor earned his Bachelor of Science in Environmental studies from Concordia University in Montreal, where he also received a certificate in Business Administration and Marketing from the John Molson School of Business. Committed to furthering his education, Nestor attended the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in Shanghai where he studied Business Fundamentals in China. He then received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University.

International Business

From Beijing to Zurich, Nestor has travelled and conducted business all around the world. His clients included some of the largest multi-national consumer packaged goods suppliers such as Bacardi, Coca-Cola, L'Oréal, Nestlé, and Procter & Gamble.
Analyzing data, Nestor consulted and presented insights to management, executives, and boards on their businesses performance and advises on steps for improving their customer engagement to drive commercial success.

Today, he is an active commodities trader, and a leader in sustainable urban mining, diverting millions of pounds of electronic and metal waste from landfill to be recycled to new raw materials. His latest project looks to improve Elective Vehicle battery recycling in the GTA for vehicles such as Tesla’s and Chevy Volt’s.

Policy

As a strict fiscal conservative on budgeting and progressive on social issues, Nestor looks to conserve our environment, reduce government waste all while maintaining our traditional Canadian values.

Ensuring the future health of our bee population, Nestor became a beekeeper a few years ago and maintains multiple bee hives; while also finding time to play soccer, sail, ski in the winter and garden in the summer.
